Avoiding worker injury and death is a prime concern for the construction industry. Using plant proximity warning for construction is becoming increasingly important to help protect workers.
Every year thousands of workers are killed or injured on construction sites in the UK and beyond. Keeping workers away from dangerous plant has always been a difficult, costly and time-consuming challenge.
With the launch of Zonr we bring a super flexible, but highly reliable solution to help solve this problem, keeping workers safer and construction companies out of the headlines and courts.
Zonr plant proximity solution has been designed and built using Pathfindr’s technology expertise with advice from rail maintenance experts QTS Group. It uses Ultra-Wideband (UWB) signals to create a virtual barrier around dangerous plant and equipment.
Both the plant operator and the worker are alerted as soon as an incursion occurs.
The Zonr plant proximity solution is super simple to install and even easier to operate.
The control unit and any sensors are attached to the plant and then synced using a mobile phone. Then any Zonr wearable device will trigger an incursion alert – warning both the plant operator and the worker.
Did you know that 38% of construction workers believe that a serious accident is “inevitable” on their site? That’s more than a third of all workers. While
