Zonr Plant Proximity Solution.

Zonr creates virtual safety exclusion zones that warn your workers when they’re getting too close to dangerous or moving equipment.

How does Zonr work?

The Zonr system creates a virtual barrier around anything you attach it to using UWB technology. If a worker enters the zone, they are alerted via a vibrating tag on their arm and an audible alarm.

The operator is alerted by an audible alarm and a flashing red light. Incursion data is gathered and stored so you can monitor and manage how often incursions happen

Zonr Base unit

The Zonr Base unit is placed within the cab of the plant. This provides audible and visual alerts to the operator if an incursion takes place. The operator also controls the system allowing them to authorise incursions in exceptional circumstances.

Zonr Sensor

The Zonr Sensor 'listens' for Ultra-Wideband signals emitted by the Zonr Tag. If the Zonr Tag is too close, i.e. within the pre-configured exclusion zone, the Zonr Sensor alerts the Zonr Base unit.

Zonr Tag

Based on the highly successful Pathfindr Social Distancing Assistant developed during the Covid crisis, the Zonr Tag alerts the worker to the incursion encouraging them to move away from danger.

Zonr gives complete incursion visibility.

Plant location

The Zonr Base unit uses GPS to locate the plant or hazard providing complete location visibility via the Zonr cloud based portal.

Incursion trends

The Zonr Base unit uses a cellular connection to upload red zone incursion data (authorised or non) to the Zonr platform.

Incursion detail

The Zonr Base unit uploads detailed red zone incursion data for use in training or in the event of an investigation.

The Zonr plant proximity solution is super simple to install and even easier to operate.

The control unit and any sensors are attached to the plant and then synced using a mobile phone. Then any Zonr wearable device will trigger an incursion alert – warning both the plant operator and the worker.
